England

A brief stop in England during a scorching, record-breaking heatwave. The kind of heat the country rarely sees and isn't really built for. Trains ran late, plans fell through, and more than a few things were delayed or cancelled, so I didn't get to see nearly as much as I'd hoped.

Still, the streets of London were packed with tourists braving the heat, and there's something to be said for wandering a city when the usual itinerary falls apart. A short visit, but England left me wanting to come back—ideally in cooler weather.

Windsor London

A record-breaking heatwave gripped England—relentless sun and stifling, humid afternoons with little relief. The country is obviously not mde for it, with poor ventilation and lack of air conditioning.
